I didn’t Google this first so maybe there is a better tutorial out there.who knows but anyway I had a pretty customized “Friend list” before the whole redesign.  If you had one, you know how much of a pain in the rear it is to get to now.  Facebook > Login > Click on Friends > Click on your list to get there! 

So here is a little tip..it seems that the friend lists are real URL’s.  Meaning the URL you see in your browser, something like http://http://www.facebook.com/#!/home.php?sk=fl_XXXXXXXXXX  is the same every time you want to view that list.  Needless to say my default Facebook bookmark is being updated with this link so that I enter Facebook at the same point.

The only negative that I found so far is that there is no place for you to update your own status from the friend list page.  That is a hassle but if you prefer to view the list that you care about the most first than this is a real time saver.
